The owners Chris and Karin were the most gracious and kind couple and their dog Cosmo was just the friendliest and also their kitty Grace as well. They made my wife and I feel so welcome. Felt like family they started our honeymoon off with warmth. I HIGHLY recommended this home. They both were friendly and attentive to us the room as beautiful and classy.
My husband and I stayed here for 1 night on our week-end trip to Lodi. And we couldn’t rave enough about how we enjoyed our authentic stay here in Bella Vino. Chris and Karen are a very loving welcoming and attentive couple that inspired us through their travel journey and stories. The room and bathroom was very clean, homy and the bed was very soft. All in all it was a v comfortable stay and we loved Cozmo as well (the poodle). Location is fantastic, just 5-10 min walk to the Pharmacy and Zin Bistro (a v popular and tasty restaurant we managed to go for dinner). And just 10-15 minutes away from the best wineries in town. We Will be back for sure next time we are here in Lodi, Thank you so much Chris and Karen for everything!
Loved this place! The house is beautiful, the innkeeper is friendly and accommodating to the needs of his guests, especially dietary requirements. The food is excellent! The furry welcoming committee gives this B&B a truly home away from home atmosphere, especially for pet owners who leave their fur babies behind while traveling. Thank you Chris, Gracie, & Cosmo. It was very difficult to leave!
Me and my wife stayed here during the Lodi Grape Festival. Karen and Chris run a beautiful home with several bedrooms and privacy. Also a lot of instruments if anyone likes to play. Lastly, Chris is an amazing Chef that surprised us with every dish he made.
We had a lovely experience at darling Bella Vino! Chris and Karen are delightful and their furry pets are sweet! The accomodations were great and the breakfasts were scrumptious! Thank you both for a lovely weekend to celebrate our anniversary. And for the fun information about Lodi. We're looking forward to coming back!
I was so very surprised on how quaint the house was. We were greeted with the most wonderful hosts! Clean and comfortable. room.Amazing breakfasts!!! They gave us wonderful history of Lodi and a fantastic recommendation for dinner. 5 stars plus!!
We felt like VIPs!!! This couple gave us a phenomenal experience! Our room was exactly as depicted! Our breakfast was outstanding! Ya'll, when I tell you this was the best omelet I've had in 10 years...and they made us almond cake! The garden is magical! I swear I saw a fairy! I drove 3 hours for a work event & Hubby's shirt got wrinkled during the drive and Chris ironed it for me while I did my makeup, for the dinner!!! Above and Beyond Service!!! PLUS, we are moving to Lodi, for Hubby's new job, and they gave us a wealth of knowledge, introduced us to a realtor and invited me to check out some local organizations they are part of!!! Thank you BOTH!!! We can't wait to create art/hope with ya'll!!! See you again, soon!
My husband and I drove to Lodi for the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and stayed at Bella Vino in the "Merlot" room. It was a very large lovely room with en suite bathroom, also quite large. The room was bright and full of light, decor was upscale vintage and the king bed was soooo comfortable. There was even a vintage mini fridge in the room for snacks or left overs. Both spaces were spotless, very well kept. We had breakfast outside on the deck both mornings that we were there and Chris, our host, made us a different offering each day, with fresh coffee, oj, freshly cut fruit, something eggy and something sweet, we loved it all. We also enjoyed the company of our four legged hosts, Cosmo a statuesque white standard poodle who made sure to always have a toy offering in his mouth upon greeting us and Gracie a slightly pudgy super friendly tabby cat who did what cats do best, lounge in the sun and soak up pets from guests that happen to pass by. We will definitely be back to Lodi for other wine getaway adventures and we hope our room at Bella Vino is available next time we make the trip.
